In the song “Deliverer” the focus is on the Passover, and how Israel being freed from the bondage of Egypt was a perfect picture of how Yeshua brings us out of the bondage of sin (specifically it’s penalty, death), out of our Egypt. In the time of Moses, many hoped for a deliverer, and God provided him in Moses physically. But Moses was but a shadow to the Prophet like Moses described in Deuteronomy 18, who would be sent by the Father to speak His words only, and through His faithfulness became the Deliverer by laying down His life as the Passover Lamb.
