The Feast of Shavuot commemorates two historical events, the giving of Yahweh’s law (Torah), and His Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit). The Feast Day embodies Yahweh’s will for His people, that they would worship Him in Spirit and Truth. Just as the believers were gathered together in His name, we pray for an increase of the outpouring of His Spirit on us as we gather on His Feast Day.
